I'm not sure if this is the sort of thing you want to mention, but User:CGoubert-WMF & User:HNowlan (WMF) did a bunch of work to make uploads of large files more stable (T358308). In essence, uploads >2.5GB work again after being broken for several months. Is that the sort of thing you want to include in these reports? Bawolff (talk) 16:31, 19 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

yes, sure. can you write a short summary (with some links to more detailed explanation)? RZuo (talk) 23:02, 19 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Added. I mostly just linked to the task. The details are pretty nitty gritty. Bawolff (talk) 15:49, 23 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  • Kosovo enacted Law No. 08/l-205 on Copyright and Related Rights, becoming effective five days after its publication on the Official Gazette of the Republic of Kosovo on 12 October 2023.[1] The new law is heavily patterned after the European Union standards; Wikimedia Commons-compatible freedom of panorama now exists in the country.
  • A new copyright law in Mongolia was adopted on 6 May 2021.[2] The new Law of Mongolia on Copyrights now provides freedom of panorama for works of architecture and three-dimensional works like statues. See this discussion for more details.

@JWilz12345 info from 2023 and 2021 is not "news" anymore. RZuo (talk) 05:59, 3 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@RZuo how about the recent discovery of the FoP in Mongolia by Chinneeb when they looked for the copyright law changes in theie country? Not news too? JWilz12345 (Talk|Contrib's.) 06:24, 3 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
