Shouldn't this be called something like "Glina church - Ustaše forced conversion of Serbs"? Heavenlyblue (talk) 02:31, 19 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Propaganda information in the context of the image?[edit]

@Magog the Ogre and Peacemaker67:

This is information from eng-wiki the article "Glina massacres" "A photograph from the files of Zagreb police chief Božidar Cerovski showing Serbs from Glina gathered in a Serbian Orthodox church prior to the second Glina massacre, 30 July 1941"

This is information from Serbian-wiki "Orthodox Serbs, gathered in the Glina church in the summer of 1941 by the Ustasha, under the pretext of converting to Catholicism, instead of which a massacre was carried out."

On wiki-commons are two different informations: "Serbian civilians who are being forced to convert to Catholicism by the Ustasa regime stand in front of a baptismal font in a church in Glina. By other source picture is showing Serbs converting in Orthodox church in Hrvatska Dubica. (Politika 21.7. 2021, Nr. 38679 )"

The same picture was present on the website of the Jasenovac concentration camp, and under the picture it says "Pokrštavanje Srba u Hrvatskoj Dubici, 745:JSV 29/05 FR....Convert of Serbs to Catholicism in Hrvatska Dubica 745:JSV 29/05 FR"[1]

It does not state which church is it (Catholic-Orthodox), Glina is not mentioned as a place, possible crime, possible slaughter, forced convertion to Catholicism etc. Given that institution of the Jasenovac concentration camp was composed of scientists and historians, this picture which is part of that institution, and the explanation of the picture itself is the strongest source ie RS, and all other informations which are in the description of that picture, that is, facts related to that picture in this case would be OR, possible FRINGE. . The best of the sources for this is the Jasenovac website linked. The title and caption should be what they say it is. Peacemaker67 (talk) 05:42, 24 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
