Charles McFarland is a Vulnerability Researcher in the Advanced Threat Research team at Trellix. He has been working in the cybersecurity industry since 2006 ranging from technical training, threat intelligence, and currently vulnerability research. He earned his Master's of Science in Computer Science, Intelligent Systems at the University of Texas at Dallas. Past specializations include encryption technologies, dark markets, actor behaviors, and blockchain. Currently, he is focused on the threat landscape of various technologies and internal tool building.
